Lookie! Lookie! Here Comes Cookie! Satin Swing Dress From Broad Minded Clothing

From Broad Minded Clothing (Babygirl Boutique's signature label), we're spotlighting the "Lookie! Lookie! Here Comes Cookie!" satin swing halter dress, seen here modeled by the gorgeous Scarlett Storm, and photographed by Danger Ninja.

The Marilyn-inspired "Lookie! Lookie!" dress is made of reams of luscious satin for a full swing skirt that will delight any and all swing dancers. The dress zips up the back and the halter top ties around the neck and is adjustable to all bust sizes-- although most times, as with any halter dress, professional alterations are recommended for a perfect fit.

This style was adapted from a classic 50s pattern and is available in several colors, not just the jumbo dots seen above.

Classic 50s Style Halter Dresses From Rock Steady Clothing

Rock Steady Clothing is an indie brand (totally made in the USA) that specializes in street, alternative, and rockabilly dresses that mimic the styles and designs of classic 50s clothing in modern, easy-to-care-for fabrics.

This week, we received two new retro, reproduction dress styles from Rock Steady!

First is a Halter Swing Dress featuring a flirty, full skirt and red contrasting halter ties and waistband. A classic, 50s, figure-flattering shape! Great for fall or winter parties when paired with a feminine cardigan. This dress zips up the back, and is made from a very soft poly/rayon/spandex.

Second is the Melanie Wiggle Dress. A very sexy little number featuring a chiffon polka dot gathered bust and ruffle hem. Designed to accentuate the curves, 50s style. Ultra retro wide halter ties, and a slit up the back.

Click on the photos for more info, or visit all of our Rock Steady Clothing goodies!

Both of these dresses modeled here by Kitty Vicious.

Sweet and Sophisticated 1960s-Style Lace Cocktail Dress

How lovely and demure is this darling 60s-Style Vintage Reproduction Long Black Sleeve Lace Dress?

Many darling details to mention. The matching beaded flower brooch is detachable. The slip underneath is a soft black rayon with spaghetti straps. The slip is not sewn onto the dress so you can wear other slips underneath if you want to change it up for a different look.

Little round buttons make a lovely detailed finish at the back of the neck and at the sleeves.

The dress itself is a bold lace in a gentle A-line cut with long sleeves and it falls to just above the knees in classic sixties style.

You will feel like Jackie O in this classy cocktail dress! Click here for more photos and info about this lovely dress.
